Address: Via del Babuino, 149 – Rome (tel. +39 06 3244903). Opening hours: Sundays from 10.00 till 12.00.
History and description
It was constructed either by the architect Giacomo della Porta (if you believe the city of Rome website) or by Martino Longhi the Elder (if you have more faith in the Wikipedia article), who began the work in 1580 and completed it three years later. The work had been commissioned by Cardinal Santoro.
The architectural style is baroque, with a facade consisting of two parts and an interior in the form of a Latin cross. The nave ends with a wooden partition.
