The 60 statues that make up the exhibition are on loan from a number of European museums, including the Petit Palais Musé des Beaux-Arts de la Ville (Paris), the Musée Faure (Aix-les-Bains) and the Musée de Picardie (Amiens).

The exhibition’s biggest attraction is however taken from the museum that used to be the sculptor’s own residence, the Parisian Musée Rodin: The Kiss. In 1886, when it was sculpted, this work was seen as rather controversial because of the extremely sensuality it invoked.
