Georgia O’Keeffe, Museo del Corso, 2012 (finished)

It is the first time that a retrospective dedicated to O’Keeffe is being held in Italy and the second time within the space of a year, after Edward Hopper, that the Museo del Corso pays homage to an American artist and 20th century icon.

Most of the more than 60 works that can be admired are on loan from the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum of Santa Fe, New Mexico, but many also come from other renowned museums, such as the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid.

There are also several photographs by Alfred Stieglitz taken during the course of O’Keeffe’s artistic life.

The exhibition will last until January 22, 2011. Admission is 10 Euros (8 Euros concessions). The Museo del Corso is open every day from 10 AM until 8 PM. For information call +39 0639967888.
