Every Sunday in the Borghetto Flaminio the Rigattieri per Hobby “Garage Sale” takes place. This market is different from most markets in Rome in that it only has stalls run by non professional people, according to the organizers based on the idea of the American garage sale.

This might give the impression that only cheap objects are sold here, but the website run by the organizers, the Associazione “Creativitalia”, mentions items that have been sold for tens of thousands of Euros.
The word rigattiere is Italian for “junk dealer” and the market consists of 4 pavillions hosting a total of 240 stalls.
