Not a season passes in Rome without there being at least one exhibition dedicated to a famous artist or with an interesting theme. The most important ones, together with some minor but still interesting exhibitions, currently being held are listed below.
Current Exhibitions Rome
Damien Hirst, Galleria Borghese
“Archaeology Now” is the title of a Damien Hurst exhibition that opened on Tuesday 8 June 2021 at the Galleria Borghese. The exhibition contains 80 of the artist’s sculptures and will last until 7 November. Hirst’s art is juxtaposed with the permanent exhibition of this beautiful museum.
Damien Hirst, Gagosian Gallery
The Gagosian Gallery exhibition “Forgiving and Forgetting” includes works from the artist’s earlier “Treasures from the Shipwreck of the Unbelievable” and coincides (more or less) with the Hirst exhibition in the Galleria Borghese (until October 23, 2021).
