If, between May 13 and May 15 2011, you happen to be near the town of Cerveteri or you happen to be in Rome and you wish to escape from the capital’s hectic traffic and you are interested in both strawberries and agricultural machinery, then a visit to the frazione of Cerveteri called Borgo San Martino is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Cerveteri Strawberry and Agricultural Machinery Fair 2011
During this weekend the annual exhibition-market of agricultural and gardening machinery will take place, together with the Sagra delle Fragole (Strawberry fair), which is held for the first time and will comprise some 50 market stalls dedicated to this fruit, typical of the area.
At the agricultural fair there will also be space for a display of vintage tractors and other farm vehicles and machinery.
The contemporaneously held festivals will include live musical and street artist performances and a traditional dance will be held in the main square.
