Rome’s Archeologia Card is valid for 7 days and gives free access to the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill, the 4 sites that form the Museo Nazionale Romano (Palazzo Massimo, Palazzo Altemps, Crypta Balbi and Terme di Diocleziano), the Baths of Caracalla, the Villa dei Quintili and the Tomb of Cecilia Metella. (At the moment the card is not being issued and nobody seems to know when or if it ever will be available again.)
Archeologia Card Rome
The price of the Archeologia Card for 2013 is 23 Euros and it is valid for 7 days from the moment you use it. For EU citizens between 18 and 25 years of age the pass costs only 13 Euros. EU citizens over 65 and under 18 do not pay for the attractions involved anyway. The price for the Archeologia Card for 2014 is not known yet.
Public transportation is not included in the Archeologia Card.
The Archeologia Card can be bought at the attractions themselves except for the Cecilia Metella Tomb and the Villa dei Quintili and also at the tourist office of Rome, the ATP (Via Parigi, 11). It can also be purchased online, for a 2 Euro surcharge.
